Increased income for most of Entrepreneurship Training Programme participants

A recent review of ICEIDA´s  Entrepreneurship Training Programme in Uganda carried out in collaboration with the University of Reykjavik and Uganda Investment Authority, reveals that the project has been a success and has created many new employment opportunities in the country. "This confirms that this pioneering project has yielded far better results than originally anticipated, and that the majority of just over six thousand Ugandans participants in the entrepreneurshiptraining have succeeded in increasing  their income substantially. More than 500 (around 7%) small enterprises operated by participants of the training have doubled their income after participating in the Enterpreneur Training Programme“ says Geir Oddsson Project Co-ordinator in ICEIDA´s Office in Uganda.
